Day 01

Arrival / Pinnawala / Sigiriya
Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by our Green Sri Lanka Tour representative and your guide at the airport.

After this heartfelt reception, set off for Pinnawala to visit the renowned Elephant Sanctuary.

This sanctuary is home to the largest herd of elephants in captivity worldwide, offering a unique chance to observe these majestic creatures in a natural setting. You’ll have the extraordinary opportunity to interact with them by bottle-feeding baby elephants and experiencing the special bond they share with their human caregivers, known as “eth gowwa.” Witnessing the elephants’ daily bath is undoubtedly the highlight of the visit, leaving a lasting impression on any elephant enthusiast.

Afterward, continue your journey to the historic city of Sigiriya.

Day 03

Sigiriya / Matale / Kandy
Start your day with breakfast before heading to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Climb this ancient marvel and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Next, travel to Matale to visit the renowned Spice Garden. Experience the beauty and aroma of Sri Lanka’s prized spices and medicinal herbs, including Sandalwood, Margosa, Cocoa, Citronella, Almond, Jasmine, and Coconut. Explore how spices like cloves, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and saffron are cultivated in their natural environment.

Afterward, continue your journey to the historic city of Kandy. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 04

Kandy / Peradeniya / City Tour / Kandy
After breakfast, we will depart for the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, where you can explore a stunning variety of plants and flora.

Upon arriving in Kandy, we will visit some of the city’s fascinating attractions, including the Gem Museum, the Wood Carving Center, and the Batik Factory, where you can observe the intricate process of batik production.

Following this, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses the most revered Buddhist relic, a tooth of the Buddha. This temple is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists and is considered one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world.

After the day’s sightseeing, enjoy a relaxing evening at your hotel in Kandy.

Day 05

Kandy / Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, we will depart for Nuwara Eliya, making a stop along the way at Ramboda Falls, a stunning 109-meter high waterfall. It is the 11th tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and ranks 729th in the world, situated at an elevation of 945 meters above sea level.

Next, we will visit a tea plantation and factory, where you can learn about the traditional methods of black tea production. Despite technological advancements, the slow and labor-intensive orthodox method remains the preferred way to produce Sri Lanka’s world-renowned black tea. As Sri Lankan tea cultivators emphasize, quality tea cannot be rushed.

Day 06

Nuwara Eliya / Colombo City Tour / Colombo
After breakfast, depart for Colombo and enjoy a city tour of the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a dynamic city, blending colonial history with modern urban life. During the tour, you’ll visit significant landmarks including a Buddhist temple, Wolvendaal Church (a Dutch-era monument), a Hindu temple, the Town Hall, and the exclusive Cinnamon Gardens area, known for its beautiful villas that house embassies and elite schools. You’ll also visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), a gift from the People’s Republic of China, among other attractions.
