After this heartfelt reception, set off for Pinnawala to visit the renowned Elephant Sanctuary.

This sanctuary is home to the largest herd of elephants in captivity worldwide, offering a unique chance to observe these majestic creatures in a natural setting. Day 02

Sigiriya / Minneriya / Sigiriya
Begin your day with a visit to Minneriya National Park for an exciting wildlife safari by jeep.

Located in Sri Lanka’s North Central Province, Minneriya National Park was declared a protected area on August 12, 1997, after initially being established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The park plays a vital role in preserving the catchment of the historic Minneriya Tank, which dates back to the 3rd century AD and was constructed by King Mahasen. This sanctuary is also home to an array of wildlife species, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

Day 03

Sigiriya / Matale / Kandy

Next, travel to Matale to visit the renowned Spice Garden. Day 04

Kandy / Peradeniya / City Tour / Kandy
After breakfast, we will depart for the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, where you can explore a stunning variety of plants and flora.

Upon arriving in Kandy, we will visit some of the city’s fascinating attractions, including the Gem Museum, the Wood Carving Center, and the Batik Factory, where you can observe the intricate process of batik production.

Following this, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses the most revered Buddhist relic, a tooth of the Buddha. This temple is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists and is considered one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world.

Day 05

Kandy / Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, we will depart for Nuwara Eliya, making a stop along the way at Ramboda Falls, a stunning 109-meter high waterfall. It is the 11th tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and ranks 729th in the world, situated at an elevation of 945 meters above sea level.

Next, we will visit a tea plantation and factory, where you can learn about the traditional methods of black tea production. Despite technological advancements, the slow and labor-intensive orthodox method remains the preferred way to produce Sri Lanka’s world-renowned black tea. As Sri Lankan tea cultivators emphasize, quality tea cannot be rushed.

Day 06

Nuwara Eliya / Colombo City Tour / Colombo
After breakfast, depart for Colombo and enjoy a city tour of the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a dynamic city, blending colonial history with modern urban life. During the tour, you’ll visit significant landmarks including a Buddhist temple, Wolvendaal Church (a Dutch-era monument), a Hindu temple, the Town Hall, and the exclusive Cinnamon Gardens area, known for its beautiful villas that house embassies and elite schools. You’ll also visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), a gift from the People’s Republic of China, among other attractions.
