Day 01
Arrival / Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage / Kandy
Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by our Green Sri Lanka representative and your guide at the airport.
After the greeting, head to Pinnawala to visit the renowned Elephant Sanctuary. Home to the largest herd of elephants in captivity, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe these gentle giants in a natural setting. You’ll enjoy a memorable experience as you bottle-feed baby elephants, witness their bond with human caretakers known as “eth gowwa,” and marvel at the highlight of the day—the elephants bathing in the river. It’s an unforgettable treat for any elephant enthusiast.

Kandy / Peradeniya / City Tour / Kandy

Kandy / Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, making stops along the way to visit Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation, and a tea factory for a tasting experience.
Ramboda Falls, standing at 109 meters, is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and ranks 729th globally. Situated at an altitude of 945 meters above sea level, the falls offer breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere.
Sri Lanka’s tea industry is renowned for preserving the traditional, orthodox method of black tea production, considered by many experts to yield the finest quality tea. Despite technological advancements over the years, this method remains labor-intensive and time-consuming, a testament to the belief that good tea cannot be rushed.

Relax in Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as the “heart” of Sri Lanka’s tea country, is nestled at an elevation of 1,980 meters in the central highlands. While daytime temperatures remain pleasantly mild, nighttime conditions can dip low enough to create frost.

Highlights include a visit to a Buddhist temple, the historic Wolvendaal Church (a Dutch colonial landmark), a Hindu temple, and the iconic Town Hall.
