Arrival / Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage / Kandy
Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by our Green Sri Lanka representative and your guide at the airport.
After the greeting, head to Pinnawala to visit the renowned Elephant Sanctuary. Home to the largest herd of elephants in captivity, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe these gentle giants in a natural setting. You’ll enjoy a memorable experience as you bottle-feed baby elephants, witness their bond with human caretakers known as “eth gowwa,” and marvel at the highlight of the day—the elephants bathing in the river.
